YOUTH TAIKO

Experience the power, rhythm, and excitement of Japanese taiko drumming! In this energetic class, students will learn foundational taiko techniques while developing coordination, focus, strength, musicality, and physical expression. Through powerful group drumming, movement, and ensemble work, students will explore the connection between sound and the body while building confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills. More than drumming, Youth Taiko is a collaborative experience that celebrates listening, creativity, and the joy of creating something together. Students will connect with the energy and spirit of this powerful art form while discovering their own voice through music, movement, and community.
