FWDC’s 2026-2027 Season Scholarship Try-Ins were held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

We understand that dance can be expensive, but it is our mission to share the gift of dance, drumming and wellness classes to ALL!

 

Scholarships are given based on need, not experience. Families may receive one scholarship per family. A scholarship is good for ONE free class per recipient for 1 full-year (Fall, Winter/Spring & Summer semesters). Classes include dance, drumming and wellness classes. If the student (you or your child) does not meet the requirements below, FWDC does offer work/study, payment plans, and other options. We will happily work with you as we want to see you moving in our beautiful studios! Please call the office for more information.

 

To be eligible for a scholarship, students MUST: 

• Complete and submit the application FORM.

• Attend a scholarship try-in.

• Have NO outstanding balance from previous classes.

• Students must be able to have regular consistent attendance at the scholarship class. More than 3 unexcused absences may result in loss of scholarship. 

• Student must 7+ years old and able to attend weekly classes regularly.

 

Try-Ins will be mostly movement-based and focused on participation rather than skill. It’s not about talent or technique, but about showing your interest, energy, and commitment to being part of the program.
