CORINNE HOBBS

Corinne Hobbs has a deep and rooted connection to Fort Wayne Dance Collective. Corinne started dancing at FWDC at 12, and has been teaching here since she was 17. She joined the Professional Performance Ensemble (then called Touring Company) when she was eighteen. She’s performed in all nine of FWDC’s Collective Expressions productions, as well as the two prequels to Collective Expressions. She has performed in each of FWDC’s Halloween Shows since 2012. She was one of the first members of the pre-professional group, Pineapple Dance Project (making it all the more special when she took over as the instructor for Pineapple II. She also currently teaches Youth Lyrical, Youth Ballet, Youth Modern, and Teen Modern Technique. She won the O’ Frank Kenworthy award in 2014, and the Liz Monnier founders award in 2024. She has more than extensive experience with FWDC’s mission and operations, making her the perfect member of our team.
