Continuing Modern is designed for dancers with at least three years of prior modern training who are ready to advance their technique and artistry. Students will explore a range of modern and contemporary approaches, including floor work, inversions, weight-sharing, and dynamic movement patterns, while strengthening alignment, precision, and athleticism. With a focus on musicality, improvisation, and expressive storytelling, dancers will deepen their understanding of modern dance’s diverse traditions while further applying their knowledge to complex combinations. This class encourages individuality and creative risk-taking, helping students refine performance quality and develop their artistry.
