For over 20 years, Jill Griebel has been a noteworthy leader in Northeast Indiana’s non-profit sector. Previously, Jill served as a Librarian for 3 separate northern Indiana library systems and as an Executive Director for Communities that Care. She is currently the Operations & Programs Director for Fort Wayne Dance Collective. Jill believes that serving under-resourced, marginalized, and neglected populations is the only way that communities can truly grow and flourish. With a passion for art’s healing ability, Jill advocates for those in our community who cannot advocate for themselves. She also values providing arts for those with medical disabilities and terminal diagnoses, as she lost her husband to Huntington’s Disease at a young age. Jill volunteers as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Indiana Chapter and the Regional Advisory Board for Drug-Free Communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications with minors in Political Science and Literature. Jill resides in Kendallville with her daughter, their pup Tilly and a super cool muted calico cat named Lemonade. In her free time, Jill can be found supporting her daughter at pageants for the Miss America Opportunity and watching every dance performance her daughter participates in. She also has a love of reading and writing.
