
BOARD MEMBER
Bri Spellman has been dancing since the age of three and has spent her life embracing the transformative power of the arts. Originally from the Indianapolis area, she moved to Fort Wayne in 2016 and has since become deeply involved in the region’s arts, nonprofit, and community engagement sectors.
Professionally, Bri brings over a decade of experience in program management, event coordination, community relations, education, and organizational leadership. She currently serves as Program Coordinator for Graduate and Undergraduate Medical Education at Fort Wayne Medical Education Program. There, she manages complex educational programs, coordinates large-scale events, oversees regulatory compliance, and supports the development of future healthcare professionals. Throughout her career, she has built expertise in relationship-building, strategic planning, volunteer engagement, marketing, and creating meaningful experiences for diverse audiences. Her previous roles in healthcare, wellness programming, senior services, and higher education have allowed her to develop a strong foundation in community-centered leadership and collaborative problem-solving.
Alongside her professional career, dance has remained a constant source of inspiration and connection. Bri has performed, taught, and choreographed throughout Northeast Indiana, including serving as a dance instructor and competitive team choreographer and performing with the Fort Wayne Dance Collective Touring Company from 2020–2024. She is honored to continue supporting the arts community through her service on the Fort Wayne Dance Collective Board of Directors as Governance Chair.
A passionate advocate for arts accessibility and lifelong learning, Bri believes that dance has the unique ability to foster creativity, build confidence, strengthen communities, and create meaningful connections across generations. She is excited to help cultivate opportunities that make the arts welcoming and accessible to all while contributing to the continued growth of Fort Wayne’s vibrant cultural landscape.
